New exhibition opening Friday August 2, 2024,
Our new exhibition opening Friday August 2nd will continue through Wednesday, September 18, 2024. The DAC Foundation has partnered with the City of Prattville and the Prattauga Art Guild to present this exhibition titled “ECHOES OF THE PAST PART II: Select Works from the DAC Collection.” The exhibition is located at the Prattville Creative Arts Center at 342 South Chestnut Street in Historic Downtown Prattville. A reception will be held on Thursday, August 8, from 4:30 until 6:30 pm.
The exhibition, curated by DAC Foundation founder and director Mark Andrew Harris, will feature works by Dixie Art Colony/DAC Bayou Painters artists Doris Alexander Thompson, Carlos Alpha “Shiney” Moon, Norma LaMae Forbes, and Walter Lee Keith. Gallery hours are Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and Sunday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and by appointment. To schedule an appointment, call 334.328.0730.
