Elmore County’s Emergency Management Agency (EMA) Specialist, Greg Ward, completed the FEMA Emergency Management Institute’s (EMI) Basic Emergency Management Academy training courses to receive his Basic Academy certification. These courses provide a foundational education in emergency management combining training experience with knowledge of systems, concepts, and practices in cutting-edge emergency management. The certification encompasses five courses with 120 total hours of classroom training.
Congratulations to Elmore County EMA Specialist, Greg Ward, on achieving this goal. The Elmore County EMA works diligently to be prepared for situations our citizens may encounter throughout the year. Planning, coordination and educational efforts are all key elements to that preparedness.
