Prime Elite 10U Boys AAU travel basketball team recently won the YBOA (Youth Basketball of America) Alabama State Championship & finishing #1 in the state and national power rankings with the best record in 10U.
Prime Elite 10U finished the season with a record of 23-3 winning all 6 tournaments they participated in located in Montgomery, Hoover, Auburn, Birmingham, Mountain Brook. Prime Elite is the first basketball team from Prattville to win the Alabama YBOA State Championship.
During its state championship run Prime Elite 10U won 4 games to capture the state tournament with wins over:
Magic City Jayhawks (Vestavia Hills) 34-12
Steel City Gators (Birmingham) 35-31,
Homewood Next (Homewood) 29-21
Hoop Squad (Hoover) 42-34 in the championship game
Prime Elite also finished #1 in the national power rankings over teams from New York, Texas, Virginia, North Carolina, Louisiana, Georgia, and Florida.
The team has also been invited to the Adidas Jr 3SSB National Championship tournament in Rock Hill, SC

Prime Elite is a new organization in the area based out of Prattville that started competitive play in the spring 2022. It has now grown to over 100 boys and girls in grades 3rd-10th from the river region and other cities in Alabama.
