The Prattville Police Department is investigating identity theft and seeks the public’s help with identifying the suspect.
Prattville Police Investigators released a photo of an unknown suspect wanted for an identity theft investigation. Investigators say the offense occurred on June 14, 2024, at a bank located in the area of 1700 East Main Street, Prattville, AL.
Investigators say the suspect entered the bank and withdrew a large amount of money using the victim’s information. The suspect also knew the victim’s banking information to complete the fraudulent transaction. After the transaction was complete, the suspect left on foot, walking in the direction of a business located adjacent to the business he had exited.
Central Alabama CrimeStoppers is offering a cash reward for the identification of the suspect involved.
