Join us this Thursday for our Lunch & Learn. It’s free, but reservations are required…
This watercolor painting titled ‘IDAHO LANDSCAPE’ is part of a series by Richard B. Brough that beautifully captures the essence of his home state. Born in Salmon, Idaho, on May 31, 1920, Brough’s British ancestors settled in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1865 before moving to Idaho in 1892.
The Lewis and Clark Expedition’s path followed through the present site of the town of Salmon. The DAC Foundation collection also includes another Idaho landscape, titled ‘Carman Creek Canyon.’ Carman Creek is a tributary of the Salmon River.
Join the DAC Foundation on THURSDAY, JUNE 20, 2024, for the next “Lunch & Learn” program to learn more about the 24 paintings and 15 artists included in this exhibition.
