Nomination Post Comments:
“In 2012, Angie and her husband Greg adopted a two-year-old girl from China named Joy. Joy had special needs that would require her to undergo multiple surgeries and attend speech therapy. Joy has thankfully been able to triumph over every obstacle she has faced and deserves this award as much as her parents. Together, Angie, Greg, their two sons, and Joy make a remarkable family. They have stuck together through thick and thin, and their love for one another is undeniable. They are a remarkable, kind, and devoted family. In fact, for over twenty years, Greg and Angie have worked for Greg’s parents’ family business in Millbrook. Angie also teaches a Sunday school class for high school girls. Joy is also very active in their church and participates in the Penguin Project in Wetumpka as well.”
