During the Millbrook City Council meeting this morning, Economic Development Director Ann Harper announced that the Millbrook Publix grocery store is expected to open to the public by July 10. For the new Wetumpka location, it is expected to open within a few days later, Harper said.
More details about those events will be forthcoming.
In the meantime, if you are interested in possible employment with the Millbrook or Wetumpka Publix stores, a two-day hiring event is scheduled for June 21-22. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days at the Home2Suites by Hilton of Prattville. The address is 2505 Legends Drive.
