We invite you to the 30th Annual Military Appreciation Day at the Montgomery Zoo. Military Zoo days will run from Wednesday, June 12, to Thursday, June 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. All military members and their families receive free admission.
What: Military Appreciation Day at the Zoo Opening Ceremony
When: Wednesday, June 12, 2024, 12 PM
Where: 2301 Coliseum Pkwy, Montgomery, AL 36110 (The podium will be in the large white tent towards the right rear of the zoo after you enter.)
Why: Leadership will kick off the Zoo Day event with an opening ceremony sharing their deep appreciation for the military members who serve our nation. Along with our partners, we are proud to support nearly 2,000 service members and military-connected families at this special event each year.
The Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce, The City of Montgomery, Montgomery County, The Montgomery Zoo, The Chamber’s Wright Flyers, and the leadership from Maxwell Air Force Base are partners in bringing this event to our community.
