Alabama Wildlife Center now offering care to injured Raptors

From the

Alabama Wildlife Center

We are happy to be back to helping our native wild raptors once again! šŸ¦…

Back in November 2022, the Alabama Department of Natural Resources (ADNR) had to stop the rehabilitation of raptors due to the highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI). It was a necessary step to protect the health and safety of our avian community.

Since then, we’ve been hard at work renovating our clinic to better serve the needs of these magnificent birds of prey. Our new and improved facilities are now ready to provide the best care and support for their recovery journey.

If you find an injured bird of prey, please note that intake can ONLY be scheduled through appointments.

Appointment Details:

šŸ“… Monday – Sunday

šŸ• 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we get back to our mission of rehabilitating these magnificent creatures!
