Wetumpka Impact Crater Discovery and Visitors Center
Saturday from 8 a.m. until Noon is the Grand Opening of the Wetumpka Impact Crater Discovery and Visitors Center.
This event is hosted by the City of Wetumpka and will be held at 124 Company Street in Wetumpka.
Join the City of Wetumpka for this occasion as they host the National League of Cities (NLC) Centennial Roadshow: 100 Years, 100 Cities, in celebration of the community’s achievements and the grand opening of the Wetumpka Impact Crater Discovery and Visitors Center.
The event kicks off at 8 a.m. with a presentation from the City of Wetumpka and the NLC. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 8:30 a.m. followed by an open house until close.
This event is part of the NLC’s nationwide journey to highlight the transformative progress and invaluable partnerships fostered over the past century. Come be one of the first to experience Wetumpka’s new destination, dedicated to exploring the wonders of their past and celebrating the vibrant present and future of the community.
