This Friday at 10 a.m. the City of Millbrook invites residents to a Memorial Day observance to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to our country.
The event will take place at the Millbrook Memorial Center, located at 3168 Park Circle. The Memorial Monument is located next to the Memorial Center, behind Village Green Park.
Danae Morgan, the Special Events Director for Millbrook, said this will be a very respectful service, and encourages everyone to come.
The memorial monument at the center lists the names of those lost during WWII. However, the service will honor all men and women, from all times of service, who lost their lives serving their country.
