Wine and craft beer enthusiasts united for a sunny evening for The Perfect Pour, hosted by the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce Friday evening at The Mill at Prattville. There were over 60 different selections of wine, showcasing varieties from Italy to Washington state.
With last year’s The Perfect Pour kicking off the annual event, this year was bigger and better with more space, wine and craft beer options and with extended hours compared to last year.
“This is what we call Chamber of Commerce Weather. This is a great opportunity to showcase our historic downtown and of course this beautiful Mill property. Bringing community together and opportunities like this with good food, good fellowship and some wonderful tastings of nice spirits from various locations, this is what it’s all about,” Chairman of the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce Lisa Miller said.
The event this year was sponsored by Montgomery Regional Airport, Jones Drugs, Larry Puckett Chevrolet, Long-Lewis of The River Region, and Prattville Health and Rehabilitation. Tickets were available online before the event and at the door.
Two food trucks were available on site. Los Mayas Mexican Restaurant and Just a Taste Food truck were serving the perfect pairings for beer and wine alike.
Wine, craft beer and local restaurants were present as well as live music for a night of perfect weather with a gorgeous view of historic downtown.
Adrienne’s Downtown Bar in downtown Prattville curated the selection, where owner Darrie Edwards handpicked the selection himself. Edwards owns Adrienne’s Downtown Bar with his wife Adrienne Edwards.
“We tried to make sure it was something that wasn’t in any grocery stores or any of the places around here so people could actually get something different than what you can get from Publix,” Darri said.
With a purchase of a ticket, that entitled the guest to a commemorative The Perfect Pour plastic wine glass and tastings of any of the wine and beer selections.
Smiles were shared, good wine and food were had and the sun was bright Friday night for another perfect event with the Perfect Pour in every glass.
