Centerpoint Fellowship Church hosted their second annual Easter Fest in Prattville last Sunday where an egg-cellent time was had by all. This free event at the church had 150 volunteers, over 10,000 eggs were hidden and over 1,500 families attended the event.

While the egg hunt was last, other events included a bean bag toss, carrot throw, pony rides, petting zoo, rock wall, sack race, spoon race, stained glass painting, crafts, Italian Ice, food and a variety of inflatables for children to play with. Gift cards from Academy, Chik-Fil-A, Launch Trampoline Park and Free Bowling passes were given out to the lucky door prize winners.

“This event is an open house event for the community. This event is a great opportunity to get to know our church and our members. It’s great for our members to just have fun with one another and have great conversations too. One of our mottos of the church is, “It’s all about relationships” and at the event we built relationships with one another,” Senior Pastor John Schmidt said.

Inside the church, the children were able to make a decorated craft egg, a hand painting and a sticker egg. The food consisted of hot dogs, chips, water and Woody’s Italian Ice was on-site and gave each child and parent a delicious cup of flavored Italian ice.

“We had the best time serving at Centerpoint Fellowship Church today. We are so blessed to be able to participate in this event and attend this church as well. The student ministry is such a blessing to our son. Thank you to each one of you today. We appreciate you all,” owners of Woody’s Italian Ice, JJ and Denise Edge said.
