1st Team All Autauga County Girls Basketball Team

Makasiah Burns – Autaugaville High School

Burns had the highest points per game average of any basketball player in Autauga County, scoring 28 points to go along with 8 rebounds and 3 assists per game. Behind Burns, the Eagles advanced to the 2nd round of the Class 1A playoffs. Burns was recently named Class 1A 3rd Team All-State by the Alabama Sports Writers Association.

Kayden Carr – Prattville Christian Academy

Carr, a 3-time state champion with PCA, averaged 16.76 points per game, 6.74 rebounds per game, and 4.02 assists per game during her senior season, which saw the Panthers win the Autauga County Basketball Tournament, and advance to the Final Four for the 4th consecutive season. Carr was recently named 2nd team All-Metro by the Montgomery Advertiser and Class 4A 1st team All-State by the Alabama Sportswriters Association.

KeLeigh Mullins – Prattville High School

The sophomore guard is a stat stuffer for the Lions, averaging 15.9 points per game, along with 6.1 rebounds per game and 3.5 assists per game. Mullins made perhaps her biggest impact on defense, where she recorded a county leading 132 steals this season, in which the Lions advanced to the Class 7A Final Four for the second consecutive season. She was recently named 2nd team All-Metro by the Montgomery Advertiser.  Mullins was named Class 7A 3rd team All-State in 2023 as a freshman, and again in 2024 as a sophomore.

Alana Jones – Billingsley High School

The sophomore forward is the only basketball player in Autauga County to average a double-double each game, with 14.65 points per game and 14.5 rebounds per game, to go along with more than 5 steals. She led the Bears to the Class 1A Area 7 championship and the 2nd round of the Class 1A Playoffs.

Nasiyah Jernigan – Marbury High School

The junior averaged 13 points per game, 6.7 rebounds per game, and 2.5 steals per game, as the Marbury Bulldogs won the Class 5A Area 6 championship, and advanced to the 3rd round of the Class 5A playoffs, falling just one win short of a Regional Championship and Class 5A Final 4.

Avery Rogers – Prattville Christian Academy

The senior, who will continue her basketball career at Faulkner University, is an outstanding ball handler, and one of the best, if not the best, pure shooters in Autauga County, boy or girl. Rogers averaged 15.41 points per game, along with 4.88 rebounds and 4.23 assists per game. Rogers was an integral part of three consecutive state championships during her freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons, and led the Panthers to the Final Four again as a senior. She also led PCA to win the Autauga County Girls Basketball Tournament championship, in which she was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.  Rogers was recently named 2nd team All-Metro by the Montgomery Advertiser, and Class 4A 2nd team All-State by the Alabama Sports Writers Association.

Jayla West – Young – Prattville High School

The junior for the Lions was one of the most dominant players on the court in the post-season as she helped Prattville win the Class 7A Area 3 Championship, and the Class 7A South Regional Championship. In the Regional Championship game against Enterprise, West-Young had 24 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals. It was the Lions’ second straight trip to the Class 7A Final Four.  West – Young was recently named 1st team All-Metro by the Montgomery Advertiser, and Honorable Mention for Class 7A All-State by the Alabama Sports Writers Association.

ULlyriah Lewis – Prattville High School 

The senior was a perimeter threat for the Lions, hitting big shots in each of the Lions big games over the course of the season. Lewis averaged 13 points per game along with 3.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. She was the MVP of the area tournament her junior season and was named to the Class 7A South Regional All-Tournament team. Lewis scored 21 points in the final game of her high school career, the Class 7A Final Four against Hewitt-Trussville. She was the only Prattville player named to the Class 7A Final Four All Tournament Team. 

2nd team All Autauga County Girls Basketball Team

Jenna McClendon – Prattville Christian Academy

The junior center with several D-1 offers looked on pace to have a massive season but went down with a season-ending injury in January and was unable to play in the Class 4A playoffs. McClendon had a huge game in the Autauga County Basketball Tournament against Prattville, scoring 18 points and securing 8 rebounds despite not playing most of the 2nd half with foul trouble.  She averaged 12.77 points per game and 9.55 rebounds per game.

Gabrielle Brown – Marbury High School

Brown averaged almost 13 points per game, along with over 6 rebounds per game, helping the Bulldogs to the 3rd round of the Class 5A playoffs.

Derrica Motley – Billingsley High School

The junior averaged more than 13 points per game and more than 4 steals and assists per game, in leading the Bears to the Class 1A Area 7 Championship and the 2nd round of the  Class 1A Playoffs.

Princess Hardy – Autaugaville High School

The sophomore averaged 12 points per game, along with 9 rebounds and 5 blocks per game, helping the Eagles to an undefeated record in area play during the regular season and the 2nd round of the Class 1A playoffs.

Justice Blackmon – Marbury High School

Blackmon averaged 11.8 points per game, along with 2.7 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game for the Bulldogs, who won the Class 5A Area 6 championship and advanced to the 3rd round of the Class 5A playoffs.
