Join the Wetumpka Depot Players for a season extra that’s perfect for the entire family.  The Runaway Princess of Emberfast is an exciting and adventure-filled new play!  The limited run will take the Depot stage on Tuesday March 5 at 6:30 p.m.

The production, directed with Gracie Grant is perfect for the entire family.  Grant is a recent Troy University graduate and also an alumni of the Depot and Wetumpka High Theatre Guild. Admission is only $10, and tickets may be purchased at the door with cash or card.

Grant has assembled a cast of outstanding performers from the Wetumpka High Theatre Guild to fill the roles in this special “season extra” for young audience members. The cast features-

Princess Adrianna – Monica Velma

Tovèna – Gracie Arnold

Robin – Adien Glass

Flint – Charles Lawrence

Princess Adriana of Emberfast is quite distressed! She is being forced to marry a prince from a neighboring kingdom even though he is a complete stranger! In order to avoid the marriage, Adriana runs away into the deepest, darkest forest, where she encounters a pair of inept dragon hunters who try to kidnap her. While in the forest, Adriana also meets a strange hermit woman with secrets of her own.

Over the course of her adventure, Princess Adriana must use her wits to evade threats and take control of her story. Along the way, she gains a few friends and learns lessons about responsibility and sacrifice. This original fairy tale features vivid characters, a thrilling story, and lots of fun humor for children and adults!

In addition to the March 5 evening performance, tickets are also available to the 9am production on March 6 for homeschool families and those with preschool aged children. Admission is $8 at the door with card or cash.
