Kong is a 2-year-old male Husky who has already been neutered. He was brought to PAHS by County Animal Control as a stray; and no owner came to claim him. Kong is about as handsome as any dog we have seen! He has a white coat with light and dark brown markings and some black highlights. He has the most beautiful and intense eyes! Kong weighs 54 pounds so he is a big guy. He is friendly and would be good with older children. We believe Kong would be good with other dogs but NOT cats. Since he is a Husky, who are well known to be the Houdini of dog breeds; and can escape fencing and he would need a securely fenced yard where he could safely play. Kong would also need regular exercise since he is an active boy. He is such a great dog; and is ready for a forever home!
Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Your pet will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a spay/neuter certificate which will help with the cost of spay/neuter. Unless otherwise indicated under ‘special needs’ our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
