Support Group forming in Eclectic for those who have lost a Spouse

FROM MAGGIE DIGIOVANNI

People who lose their spouses through death or divorce often tend to turn inward and cease being a part of their communities. Something as normal and easy as buying groceries can become difficult, even if the person and their spouse never shopped together. Whether it is knowing no one is waiting at home, or fear of a world that social media paints as dangerous, the task becomes impossible.

Saturday, January 20th, 9:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Coffee Shop located at 12 Kowaliga Rd, Eclectic, AL, a new group is forming for those who recognize themselves in that strange, new world. All are welcome.

This is not a dating place, but primarily people who are in the same boat, who need or can offer a sympathetic ear, and enjoy activities attended as a group. The first cup of coffee is on me, but if you are a coffeeholic, you get to pay for seconds or more.

If you are attending, please let me know by calling Maggie DiGiovanni at 334-478-3248 and leaving a message.
