History in the making, Pine Level swears in first town council

The newly incorporated town of Pine Level made history today with the swearing in of the town council today at 1 p.m. at the Pine Level Community Center.
 
The council was sworn in by Autauga County Probate Judge Kim Kervin. The council consists of Mayor Zachary Bigley and Town Councilors Greg Bixler, James “Mickey” Cothran, Randall “Randy” Hickman, Noell Moore and Austin E. Worcester.
 
“We as a town council have work to do,” Mayor Bigley said.
 
A prayer was led at the event by Pastor Mack Farley of Spirit Walk Ministries.
 
Also in attendance was Prattville Mayor Bill Gillespie, Autauga County Commissioner Jay Thompson, Autauga County District Judge Jessica Sanders local residence and family and friends of the new council.
