The Prattville Police Department is investigating a felony theft and seeks the public’s help with identifying the suspect.
Prattville Police Investigators released a photo of an unknown suspect wanted for a felony theft and fraudulent use of a debit card investigation. Investigators say the offense occurred, on November 7, 2023, at Walmart located at 1903 Cobbs Ford Road, Prattville, AL.
Investigators say the pictured suspect, identified as a black female, entered the business, stole a purse from a customer’s shopping cart and left the scene. The victim’s purse contained a debit card, which was used by the suspect at a nearby convenience store shortly after the theft occurred.
Investigators say the female suspect was seen on video surveillance footage wearing a black shirt and purple pants. The suspect was seen leaving the area in a blue-in-color SUV, driven by an unknown male.
The suspect is wanted for one count of theft of property 3rd degree and fraudulent use of debit/credit card, both Class C felonies.
