YBL – YMCA WINTER BASKETBALL LEAGUE
Youth Basketball is an exciting sport combining team play and individual skills. YMCA youth basketball promises no tryouts, no getting cut and no bench-warmers! Every child plays at least half of every game while making friends and learning new techniques. The YMCA utilizes volunteer coaches to focus on participation and fun!
Passing, shooting and defensive skills are strengthened and the importance of physical fitness and conditioning are stressed. While basic skills of the game are developed through practices and games, every child learns sportsmanship and values necessary to be successful in life. Every game begins with a youth sports prayer and ends with a handshake.
PRESCHOOL LITTLE DRIBBLERS
Ages 3 – 5 as of December 1, 2023
This pilot program is designed to teach basic basketball skills, game type situations, and fun! This league is PARENT-CHILD INTERACTIVE, so be ready to help your child gain the skills and confidence they need for future league play!
Practice & Games: Dec 11, 2023 – Feb 24, 2024
7 weeks on Saturdays from 10 – 10:45am

Passing, shooting, and defensive skills are strengthened while the importance of physical fitness and conditioning is stressed.

Branches will be closed from noon on Wednesday, November 22nd through Saturday, the 25th.
This decision was made to ensure that our dedicated YMCA staff can enjoy quality time with their families, in recognition of their unwavering commitment to our mission.
You will be unable to register in-house during this timeframe, but online registration will be available. In-house registration WILL be available on the last day of sign-ups, November 26th.
