Service Dogs Alabama to Host Yellowstone Themed Event Nov. 10 at Kickback Ranch in Ramer

HOPE HULL, AL  – Service Dogs Alabama

Service Dogs Alabama (SDA) will be hosting a fundraising event on Friday, November 10th, 2023. The Gathering will be a Yellowstone themed party at The Kickback Ranch and Event Center in Ramer, AL. beginning at 7 p.m. Proceeds will help support the placement of Service Dogs with youth, adults, and veterans with disabilities, as well as Facility Dogs where trauma is prevalent.

The event is sponsored in partnership with Lowder New Homes, McConnell Honda, Slaughter Creek, Jack Ingram, and ServisFirst Bank. Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Yellowstone Whiskey are sponsoring the drinks and dinner will be served by Fat Boys BBQ. Live music will be provided by The Dalton Bush Band, playing country and bluegrass music. There will be line dancing and tons of entertainment!

SDA’s Fundraising Committee members, Marianne McLeod, Preston Cauthen, Heather McConnell, Will Brannon, and Carol Lee have been busy putting together an evening of fun while incorporating the theme to be showcased at this unique venue. With its diverse accommodations and picturesque setting, attendees will surely be transported into the Yellowstone tv-series at Kickback Ranch’s Hitching Post.

Service Dogs Alabama trains and provides Service Dogs for individuals with medical and psychiatric disabilities, as well as Intervention Facility Dogs. SDA provides recipients with confidence and independence enabling them to reach their full potential. Since its inception, Service Dogs Alabama has placed over 120 dogs with qualified individuals/facilities throughout the state. SDA has developed a 43-acre training complex in Hope Hull, AL (Guice Slawson Training Complex); created a prison-based dog training initiative, as well as implemented School Dog and Courtroom Dog programs. Service Dogs Alabama is certified by Assistance Dogs International (ADI), the world-wide authority that sets the gold standards for training and placing service/facility dogs.
