It’s a Halloween Miracle! Wedding Rings dropped in Candy Bag returned in Prattville

FROM BRYAN MOSHER

PRATTVILLE, ALABAMA RESIDENT

It was an unusually cold night for trick or treating in Prattville, AL.  Unusually cold since it was the first really cold night.  One that sneaks up on families, since 24 hours ago parents were trying to figure out how to send, junior and his sister out into the neighborhood without losing them to heat stroke.

Trick or treat scheduled to terminate at 8PM.  Kids running to reach the last house, at the same time parents attempting to get rid of the remnants of this year’s candy treasures.
My wife came in the house and proudly displayed her empty candy bowl, much as a marathon runner holds up the winning trophy.
It was then I heard cupboard doors slamming, saw her pawing through the trash cans.  I watched for a moment wondering if I should break her concentration by asking what she was doing.  I took a chance and asked.  She looked up with tears in her eyes and she said she had lost her wedding rings.
After looking every place imaginable she prayed, and God heard her plaintive cry.  Turns out it was in the bag of her last customer of the night.  I think it was honest Abe Lincoln.  His mom returned the rings this morning.
