As the sun began to set Thursday evening, the crowd began arriving, many with their dogs, to enjoy the Halloween-themed Tunes on the Green concert at Village Green Park in Millbrook. Aside from great music, there was also a costume contest for pets.
Charlie C. and the Cuzamatics were the featured area band and had the crowd dancing and toe-tapping.
The park is dressed well for the Halloween/Fall season, thanks to the hard work of Special Events Director Danae Morgan and City of Millbrook staff. There will be plenty of photo opportunities on Saturday, as the annual FREE Boo Festival kicks off at 10 a.m. lasting until 2 p.m. The only cost is if you choose to partake of offerings from the food trucks, or the farmers market.
Saturday’s event will offer a Fall Farmers Market, Costume Contest, a Bike-R-Treat, Hayride, Pumpkin Patch, Hay Mountain, Food trucks, a DJ, loads of candy and much more!
Bring out the family. Come early for the best choices of goodies and take plenty of photos. The EAN will be there and hopes to see you.
