FROM ELMORE COUNTY COMMISSION
CSX has informed the Elmore County Public Works Department that CSX personnel will be performing railroad maintenance on their system beginning Monday, October 30, 2023. The first crossing to be closed is on the Alabama River Parkway. CSX crews will continue north through working on crossings in the county. The crossings will be closed for approximately 2-3 days each before reopening to the public. Please plan to use an alternate route while this rail maintenance is taking place.
