Mr. Daniel “Dan” Norwood Power, II age 85, a resident of Elmore, AL passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with Rev. Janet Krantz officiating. The interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Gardens.
Dan owned and operated Power Building Systems in Millbrook, AL for many years and was involved with many civic organizations. He was a member of Robinson Springs Church and Kiwanis and Millbrook Revelers. He was born to Daniel Eugene and Dorothy Elizabeth Lacey Power in Chattanooga, Tennessee on January 9, 1938. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother David Power.
He is survived by his wife Nancy H. Power, sons Mark Power (Susan), Andrew Power (Melody), daughters Cynthia Power, Karen Rosier (Keith), Jennifer Pestrichelli (Richard), Christin Kresnak (Christopher), twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 29, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
