The YMCA of Prattville and Gipson’s Tire Pros partner each year to bring us the Great Grit Cook-off.

This year was their 10th Annual cook-off. It would have been 11 if it weren’t for COVID.

Along with the grits cook-off they also have a 5K Nitty Gritty Run each year since 2014.

This year they had 36 cook teams, 14 vendors and more than 1.000 attend.

Keith Cantrell, Assistant General Director of the Prattville YMCA said, “It was a beautiful day full of food, fun, and family time of being together, all benefiting a great cause….the YMCA Coach a Child Scholarship Fund.”

For more information on The YMCA or The Great Grit Cook-off you can find them on Facebook.
