FROM THE DENNIS HILL CAMPAIGN
I would like to take this opportunity to announce my candidacy for the Elmore County Commission for the 3rd District.
I was appointed to the Commission in November, 2022. Governor Kay Ivey appointed me to fulfill the remaining term of Commissioner Troy Stubbs after his election to the Alabama House of Representatives.
I have enjoyed my time as a Commissioner working for the citizens of District 3 and all the citizens of Elmore Co.
This past year has been a learning experience for me. I have made it a point to jump in feet first and learn all that I can. I have completed a 50 hour new commissioner course that is required by the State of Alabama. Normally you have 2 years to complete it. I have completed it in 10 months. I try to learn and understand all that I can on how our Elmore County government and the County Commission works.
I have spent almost 34 years in law enforcement. My experience in law enforcement has taught me how to listen to people and to bring about solutions to difficult situations.
My wife Kimberly, my family and I are very grateful for the support that we have received as we work to make Elmore County a great place to live, work and raise our families.
