JOIN US FOR A CHEESY EXTRAVAGANZA!
Prepare for an unforgettable celebration of America’s cherished comfort food, Mac & Cheese. Mark your calendars for October 14, 2023, from 11am to 1pm, as we gather at Merchants Alley in Wetumpka, AL, for a day filled with culinary delights and community fun all while raising funds to support the Family Sunshine Center.
Presented by Barry and Laura Harmon and the J.K. Lowder Family Foundation, Cookin’ on the Coosa MacDown is a culinary competition bringing together both professional and amateur cooks to showcase their creativity and skills with Mac & Cheese. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample a variety of mac and cheese dishes, each vying for the coveted title of MacDown Champion.
Bring your family, your appetite, and your excitement, because you’re about to embark on a journey of mac and cheese exploration. Sample some of the most delectable mac & cheese creations from around, and play a vital role in selecting the fan favorite winner in each category. This event is designed with families in mind, offering live music, fun activities, and, of course, LOADS of mac & cheese!
TICKET INFORMATION
• Individual Ticket: $10 per person (includes event wristband and one fan favorite voting ticket for each category).
• Family Package: $25 for a family of four (includes event wristbands for 2 adults and 2 children over age 7, and two fan favorite voting tickets for each category).
• Children under 7 are free.
All proceeds from this event go to support the programs and services of the Family Sunshine Center helping to provide hope and healing to survivors of family violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
