The Prattville Ballet
The Nutcracker is based on the story of a young girl, Clara, who dreams of a Nutcracker Prince and a battle against the Mouse King. Over 65 children auditioned in late August at C.J.’s Dance Factory.
Dancing the role of Clara in is an aspiration of many young ballerinas. Nine-year-old Ceciley West and ten-year-old Addie Paulene’s commitment and passion for ballet landed them the role in Prattville’s Nutcracker Ballet! Aiden Walser will be the Nutcracker Prince.
Ceciley will be performing in the First Act and Addie will be dancing the Second Act Clara. Cecliey says, “This is a dream role”.
