Dean’s, President’s Lists Students Named for UA Summer 2023 Term

TUSCALOOSA, AL (09/07/2023)– A total of 414 students enrolled during Summer Semester 2023 at The University of Alabama were named to the dean’s list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president’s list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s). These driven students are making waves across UA’s more than 70 undergraduate programs and 12 colleges and schools.

The UA dean’s and president’s lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

The summer 2023 lists include the following students:

Samantha Brasher of Jemison (35085) was named to the Presidents List.

Amber Sansom of Jemison (35085) was named to the Deans List.

Rikki McAdams of Millbrook (36054) was named to the Presidents List.

Bryant McClendon of Millbrook (36054) was named to the Presidents List.

Leonard Carpenter of Montgomery (36105) was named to the Presidents List.

Madison Davis of Montgomery (36117) was named to the Deans List.

William Hodges of Montgomery (36106) was named to the Deans List.

Opal Khotsombath of Montgomery (36111) was named to the Presidents List.

James Newsome of Montgomery (36106) was named to the Deans List.

Naomi Patterson of Montgomery (36107) was named to the Presidents List.

Sydney Warren of Montgomery (36116) was named to the Presidents List.

Nea Washington of Montgomery (36108) was named to the Deans List.

Katherine Yelverton of Montgomery (36111) was named to the Deans List.

Penelope Diaz of Pike Road (36064) was named to the Presidents List.

Christin Morris of Prattville (36066) was named to the Deans List.
