Recently the Autauga Prattville Public Library hosted an “Out of this world” Back to School Bash event with the “Mandalorian.” Over 70 attendees had to complete a bounty hunt for a special prize. They also had an opportunity to meet the Mandalorian and get their picture taken with him. Snacks and drinks were provided as well.
The Mandalorian is the first live action space western Star Wars television series developed by Lucasfilm. It is about a lone bounty hunter who goes on the run to protect the Force-sensitive child, Grogu.
Children and Youth Service Librarian Baylee Smith spoke to EAN about this out of this world event held at the library.
“We wanted to host a Back to School Bash to get kids excited about going to school and to tell them about our school year programs,” said Smith.
She continued, “I was pleased with the attendance, and happy that the kids and their families had a great time meeting the Mandalorian and completing the bounty hunt. We’re so thankful for the Autauga Area Community Foundation for funding this event and all of our character events this year.”
