Meet Gus who is the PAHS Pet of the Week

PRATTVILLE AUTAUGA HUMANE SHELTER

Gus is a 2-year-old male Border Collie who has already been neutered. He is an owner turn in because his owner did not have enough time for him. Gus has a medium-length coat that is black with white and tan markings. He weighs 47 pounds so he is considered to be a medium sized adult dog. Gus is a really nice dog! He is so handsome–house trained and leash trained. Gus is very well behaved but being a Border Collie, he would need an opportunity to get lots of exercise in a securely fenced yard. He would be great with children and other dogs but NOT cats. Gus is such a wonderful dog and he is ready for a wonderful family!

Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Your pet will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a spay/neuter certificate which will help with the cost of spay/neuter. Unless otherwise indicated under ‘special needs’ our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
