Prattville YMCA Raises around $43,000 (so far) at annual Sink-A-Palooza event

Multiple teams and organizations enjoyed a cool pool and plenty of cold water while raising money for the Prattville YMCA during the annual Sink-A-Palooza event Saturday.

While money is still being tallied, at last official word the fundraiser for the Coach a Child Program was at just under $43,000.

Overall winners for the day are 3rd place – Prattville First Methodist; 2nd place – YMCA Leaders Club; and 1st place – Blue Haven Pools.

Congratulations to the winners of the individual categories.

1st place – Terra Jorgensen – AT Home affiliated with KW

2nd place – Rob cox – Centerpoint Fellowship Church.

3rd place – Susan Carter – Prattville Intermediate

Today was a HUGE success, Prattville YMCA officials said. “We are just under $43,000 and money is still coming in.”

That is $43,000 worth of scholarship money that the Y gives to kids and families in this community. Kids who may not otherwise get a chance to participate in the Y services, now have a chance ..all because of you and your generosity ! Thank you to everybody who made this day what it was!!
