The Montgomery Police Department is investigating an October 2022 murder and seeks the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
On October 2, 2022, at about 2:13 a.m., police responded to a local hospital in reference to a walk-in patient suffering from a gunshot wound. Investigators determined the shooting occurred at the intersection of Taft Street and Malvern Street. Police identified the victim as Reginald Woods, 23, of Montgomery. The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Montgomery Police Investigators ask anyone who was present during the shooting to please come forward and speak with investigators. Anyone with information identifying the suspect will be eligible for a cash reward.
