On Thursday, Wetumpka’s Farmers Market held their first inaugural FREE Tomato Sandwich Day. The tomatoes were graciously donated by Popwells Produce and Tif’s Piggy Pickles and More provided the pickles. All condiments and bread were provided by the City of Wetumpka.

Many vendors were out selling cake pops, homemade bread, boiled peanuts, fresh grown produce, homemade desserts, and much more. A musician, Jonathan Yarboro, provided great music for all to listen.

Frios Truck was at the market selling their famous pops.  LJ’s concessions food truck was there selling funnel cakes, elephant ears, hamburgers, and hotdogs.

If you missed this week’s farmers market, please be sure to come next Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.
