Open house is an event when schools open their doors so that parents can meet with teachers and get a glimpse into their child’s learning day. Open House also allows students to meet their teacher .
ARIS open house is uniquely designed , it gives parents opportunities to ask questions during session times , get an overview of classroom expectations, both for academics and behavior.
During your child’s grade level session teachers will provide a short presentation. You don’t want to miss this!
Our Open House consist of sessions or you can drop in during the day between 1-7. You can drop in throughout the time frame from 1-7 . Attending the sessions will provide you with an overview of your child’s day as well as what will be expected throughout the year .
Session times :
3rd grade-
1st session -1:30p.m.
2nd session – 5:00p.m.
Session times:
4th grade-
1st session -2:00
2nd session-5:30
General session with principal and instructional coach 3:00pm. All parents are invited!
Reminders
*General parent session will provide information about the Literacy Act , understanding your child’s grades and reports, understanding academic expectations, and understanding school data . ( All parents are invited ) A sign up link will be posted . )
*Sessions are designed to allow parents to ask questions and learn more about their child’s day . ( Parents can attend the classroom session during the designated time frames .)
*Our doors will be open from 1- 7 on that day. If you can’t attend a session notify your child’s teacher via email .
*Your child should receive their classroom assignment letter from their homeroom teacher the week of July 24th .
*If your address has changed and you haven’t updated your information, please notify the school. ( it is very important for the school to have the correct address information in our database system . )
