PAHS Pet of the Week: Meet Alaska

FROM THE PRATTVILLE AUTAUGA HUMANE SHELTER

Alaska is a 6-month-old male Husky (possibly Collie) mix who will be neutered before he is adopted. His medium coat is tan with white and black markings. Alaska is an unusually beautiful young dog. He currently only weighs 23 pounds so we don’t think he will weigh more than 35 pounds as an adult. It is so hard for us to believe that he was found as a stray out in the county and no one came to get him. Alaska will be good with children and other dogs. We are still learning about his precious guy but we do know he will quickly be adopted. If you are interested–come soon or you will miss out on your chance to adopt a sweetheart.

Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Your pet will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a spay/neuter certificate which will help with the cost of spay/neuter. Unless otherwise indicated under ‘special needs’ our dogs have screened heart worm negative.

PAHS is open 11-4 Monday thru Saturday. Please contact Prattville/Autauga Humane Society for most current information: 1009 Reuben Road, Prattville, AL – Phone: 334-358-2882 Email Address: [email protected]
