In preparation for Memorial Day, American Legion Post 133 of Millbrook continued their annual event of placing American Flags on graves of service men and women who died serving their country.

It is something that occurs every year, and this year a big crowd arrived to help in the task, placing the flags on graves at Brookside Memorial Cemetery.

It is just one of the many missions of the American Legion Post 133. Their effort is to make sure the graves of those lost in wartime are adorned with an American Flag, to mark their service and the ultimate sacrifice.

EAN’s Bob Ealum, who is a Veteran, was there to help photograph the process. Please see the photo gallery below.

God bless America. May God continue to bless all who willingly sign up to defend this great country. Today we honor the memory of the fallen and think of the families who will forever mourn their loss. Thank you American Legion Post 133 for your service to this community, and the service to your country.
