FROM PRATTVILLE AUTAUGA HUMANE SHELTER
Spot is an 8-month-old male American Pit Bull who has already been neutered. He is white with black markings and weighs about 40 pounds. Spot was brought to PAHS with skin issues and he was underweight. He has been treated for his skin condition and is gaining weight. Spot is a very sweet boy who loves playing with his canine friends. He is frisky, playful, and very easy going. Spot calms down quickly with play time outside in a securely fenced yard. He is leash trained, house trained, crate trained, and knows the commands ‘sit/shake’. Spot has a rough start in life; and in spite of that, he is a loving and good boy!
Important things to know about Spot from his foster:
– He has an IQ of 250, but also sometimes tries to chase his tail.
– He loves to love everyone and everything. Kids, Dogs, Cats, Rocks!
– He likes to go on car rides, but will try to talk you into letting him drive. Don’t do it. He is easily distracted by squirrels.
– His bark can be heard around the world, you will always know when he needs to go potty.
– He can wait to go out for at least 8 hours.
– He likes to help clean around the house. No crumb left behind!
Spot had a pretty horrible start at life, but he is still one of the sweetest dogs we have ever seen! He is a pretty easy-going dude and would make a wonderful dog for anyone!
