An inaugural 5K run/walk race, “Share The Road, Remembering Raymond Butler” will be held June 10 in Eclectic!
Raymond was an avid cyclist, runner, canoeist and overall athlete even at 74 years of age. He was riding his bike home from work on Aug. 29, 2022 and almost home when he was struck by a car and died from the injuries.
The start/finish will be in front of Elmore Country High School. The cost is $30 per participant and includes a Share The Road T-shirt.
Register online at RunSignUp.com by June 2 in order to guarantee a T-shirt. You can also register on race day beginning at 6:30 a.m. with the run/walk starting promptly at 8 a.m.
