The Montgomery Police Department continues to investigate a May 13, 2023, homicide and seeks the public’s help in identifying the suspects. $1,000.00 cash reward offered.

On Sunday, May 13, 2023, at about 5:23 p.m. police responded to the 400 block of Finley Avenue in reference to shots fired in the area. Upon arrival, units located an adult female who sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene. The victim was identified as Deontae Vickers, 34, of Montgomery.

Investigators are releasing photos of two unknown subjects that are possibly involved in the fatal shooting. Both subjects are identified as black males, one was seen wearing a blue shirt and red shorts, and the other subject was seen wearing a black hooded jacket and black pants.

The shooting remains under investigation and no other details are available for release at this time.

Investigators are seeking answers and are asking anyone with information to please come forward and help solve this ongoing homicide investigation. Those that come forward, will remain anonymous through CrimeStoppers.
