On Friday, May 5th the Stanhope Elmore Senior Awards Ceremony was held in the gym at SEHS. There are 244 seniors for the Class of 2023. Academic Scholarships, Athletics, Community Awards, and Departmental Awards were given out to the seniors. Students received approximately $2.5 million in scholarships. After the ceremony was over, families were invited to go to the Atrium for refreshments and to check out the senior slideshow.
“I am extremely proud of these young ladies and young men for everything they have accomplished in their four years at SE,” said Principal Ewell Fuller.
He continued, “They have overcome many challenges and have achieved great things. We wish them all the best in the future!”
UPCOMING SENIOR EVENTS ON MAY 15, 2023:
- Graduation Practice: 10:00 A.M.
- Graduation Line Up: 6:00 P.M.
- Graduation: 7:00 P.M.
**There will be NO TICKETS for Graduation. Anyone is welcome to attend the ceremony. Graduation will be held at the Foshee-Henderson Stadium at 7:00 p.m. on May 15th, 2023.
