The Prattville Police Department is investigating a counterfeit currency case and seeks the public’s help in identifying the suspects.

Prattville Police Investigators released a photo of two unknown subjects wanted for passing counterfeit currency. The offense occurred, Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Food Outlet, located at 720 E. Main Street, Prattville, Alabama. Investigators say the pictured suspects, described as white males, entered the business, purchased merchandise with a counterfeit bill, and left the business in an unknown direction of travel. There are no other details available for release at this time.

Investigators say the first subject, wearing a blue shirt and light-colored shorts, and the second subject, wearing black pants, and a t-shirt with a graphic, were captured on video surveillance cameras while entering and exiting the business,
