Join us as we celebrate our local military children for the Month of the Military Child!
When: April 22, 2023 | 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.
Where: Downtown Prattville – Spillway Park
There will be live entertainment, local food, walking parade from 1:00-1:30 P.M. and support Military Organizations!
This free event is open to the community but organized to spotlight military families. It will take place downtown, where the skating rink area is usually set up during the holidays, and will include special proclamations, military expos and demonstrations, a parade, and more!
We encourage you to wear patriotic colors or purple – the designated color of military-connected children.

Opening Ceremony
10:00 AM – DPES student to lead pledge
10:00 AM – PJHS Jazz Band to perform National Anthem
10:00 AM – District administrator to make opening remarks
10:15 AM – MHS / PHS bands to play military medley for child recognition
Additional Performances
10:30 AM – PHS JROTC to perform rifle demonstration
11:00 AM – MHS / PHS bands to play military-themed mini concert
