On Saturday, March 18th Realty Connection teamed up with the Alabama Wildlife Federation for their sixth annual Easter Eggstravaganza at Lanark in Millbrook. Easter Egg games, sponsored booths, egg hunts, movie special “A Bug’s Life” playing at theatre, bunny rabbit pictures and some delicious cotton candy all happened during this fun event.
Each age group up to the age of 12 had to find two golden eggs and if a lucky child was able to find one, they received a very special prize along with the parents.
Barry Chrietzberg Photography was onsite taking Easter pictures with live bunnies for a great price. General admission applied at the event and the proceeds from admission went back to Lanark.
“This is an event that we love being a part of with the Alabama Wildlife Federation,” said Robin Davies, Broker/Owner of Realty Connection. Davies continued, “We have been teaming up with them for six years now and we just thoroughly enjoy getting to get together with the community and watch the kids play games, hunt eggs – especially the golden eggs – and just enjoy the day! Make sure to keep an eye out for our Halloween Carnival date!”

“We had a really good Easter Eggstravaganza Event today,” said Matt Vines, ANC Camps and Community Programs Director. Vines continued, “Even though it was cold we still had about 276 guests join us this morning. This is always such a fun event to do here at the ANC, it is nice to see all of the kids smiling, running around and having fun. Special thank you to Realty Connection for partnering with us and helping put together and hide 3,000 Easter Eggs. We had 3 different age group Easter egg hunts, a lot of different games, sponsor booths, prizes, cotton candy and more available during the Eggstravaganza. Barry Chrietzberg Photograhy was also on site taking Easter pictures with the guests. I also want to thank the sponsors as well as all of our volunteers and staff members that helped to make this event successful. Our next event is April 15th, our Earth Day Festival from 10am-2pm.”
