FROM PRATTVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT
On Feb. 7 around 3:15 a.m., Prattville officers responded to a business in the 1300 block of South Memorial Drive in reference to burglary.
Upon arrival, officers located the suspect Donald Washington inside of the business. Washington was taken into custody at that time without incident.
During the investigation, evidence was found that Washington had also vandalized several vehicles and items inside the business. The estimated value of the damages of over $4,000. Washington was out of prison on early release for numerous previous felony charges.
Washington was transported to the Autauga County Metro Jail and held on $22,500.
This case is still under investigation.
