Blessings Farm is a 162-acre farm located in Butler County, Alabama. The farm is owned by Ken and Jan Kilpatrick. The farm originally belonged to Jan’s Dad and Mom, Woodrow and Edwina Butts, and her uncle, Leroy Butts. Before his death, Woodrow would reflect daily on how God had wonderfully blessed him throughout his 98 years of living. Thus, the name “Blessings Farm” became a natural title. The owners have a passion to work with at-risk youth and their families. The Hope Afield Program was formed out of this passion. In 2016, Hope Afield officially became a 501© (3) non-profit.
