Prattville: Dakota Hobbs, 19, Arrested for Multiple Drug Charges; Bond set at $536,000

On Jan. 31 members of the Prattville Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the Prattville Police Department’s Special Operations Team, executed a search warrant on a residence in the 1100 block of Cooper Avenue in Prattville.

During the search, more than three pounds of marijuana, more than two pounds of Psilocybin Mushrooms, an amount of methamphetamine, multiple types of controlled medication, MDMA pills, Cocaine, THC vape cartridges, THC edibles, synthetic marijuana (Spice), assorted drug paraphernalia, two handguns and an AR style rifle were confiscated.

Dakota Andrew Hobbs, 19, was arrested for Trafficking in Marijuana, 7 counts of unlawful possession of Controlled Substance, Illegal Possession of Prescription Medication, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Hobbs is being held at the Autauga County Metro Jail on a $536,000 bond.

The approximate estimated street value of the seized narcotics is $25,000. This search warrant was the result of an investigation that lasted several months involving the distribution of controlled substances in the City of Prattville, including the sale to juveniles.
