FROM THE PRATTVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT
Prattville Police have arrested Trayvon Norwood, 20, for Murder related to a shooting in June, 2022 death on CR 4 and Moore Drive.
At the time of the shooting, Prattville Officers responded to the area in reference to a subject shot. The victim was immediately transported from the scene by Prattville Fire Medics for treatment. Due to the severity of the injuries, the victim later died at a Hospital in Montgomery, AL.
During the lengthy investigation, Travon Norwood was named as the suspect in the shooting. On 01/24/2023 the U.S. Marshalls took Norwood into custody in Montgomery, AL on an outstanding Murder Warrant this agency held for his arrest.
Norwood was transported to the Autauga County Metro Jail, without injury where he is being held on no bond until his preliminary hearing.
This case is still under investigation by the Prattville Police Department.
