Over 200 guests attend the annual ANC Christmas at Lanark in Millbrook

Editor’s Note: This season has been full of activities surrounding Christmas in our area. We are wrapping up some of the stories just in time for the big day. Merry Christmas to all.

On December 3rd, the 13th annual ANC Christmas at Lanark located in Millbrook, Alabama had over 200 guests to attend this one-of-a-kind family event. The Alabama Nature Center is located at 3050 Lanark Road in in Millbrook.

Christmas activities included decorating sugar cookies, making nature Christmas ornaments, candy cane hikes, hayrides, meeting Santa, and watching Christmas movies in the theater. There was also hot chocolate for sale for everyone to enjoy. General admission was included for all events that happened throughout the day.

“This is always a wonderful time of year and we enjoy being able to celebrate with our community. A special thank you to all of our staff and volunteers who help to make this event possible,” said Matt Vines, ANC Camps and Community Programs Coordinator.
